Clifton L. Kennedy serves as KRI’s Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for overseeing all site development services including surveying, drainage, water and sewer systems, streets and roads, grading and paving, landscaping, construction staking and construction management. Kennedy has also functioned as Project Engineer and Project Manager for many new and existing residential/commercial developments.
Kennedy has extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering. His primary area of expertise is civil design for municipal, industrial, commercial and residential projects. In addition, he has designed numerous water supply and distribution systems.
Kennedy has completed the design of 14,000 linear feet of a large diameter water main to connect two separate water systems owned by the City of Savannah. He was also the Project Manager for the City of Springfield's 500,000-GPD Wastewater Treatment Facility. He has extensive experience in the design of water and wastewater pumping facilities. He has designed over 50 of these facilities for various municipalities in Coastal Georgia.
Over the past few years, Kennedy has also designed several large capacity deep water wells in southeast Georgia. These designs have included stand-by power systems, storage tanks, and chlorination equipment. Many of these wells were components of regional or community water systems. Institutional experience includes civil and site engineering

for several highly visible projects, such as the Calvary Baptist Temple in Savannah, with a total construction cost of $8 million. He also designed the entrance improvements and athletic fields at Saint Andrews School, and athletic fields with shallow well irrigation at Savannah Country Day School. He was Principal in Charge for the design of water, sewer and drainage infrastructure for the HOPE VI housing project in Savannah.

Kennedy is actively involved within the community. He was appointed to the Savannah-Chatham County Metropolitan Planning Commission in March 1997 and served as Vice Chairman from September 2000 through March 2003. In addition, he is involved with the Chamber of Commerce Savannah Sports Council and Military Affairs Council as well as Georgia Regional Transportation Authority. He also has served on the Board of Trustees for Armstrong Atlantic State University and Savannah Technical College.
